Happy Valentine's Day

We had a lot of fun celebrating Valentine's Day. We started off the day with a science lesson about the human heart. We learned that the heart pumps blood through our bodies. We also learned that your heart has to work faster when you move. We did an experiment and counted our heart rates white sitting, after walking in place, and after doing jumping jacks. We also did a math activity with candy hearts. We made predictions and then represented the actual number of candy hearts using a bar graph. Our room moms brought us a craft to make and some treats. We hope you enjoy our slide show of our Valentine's Day celebration!
