Treats for our Troops

We read the book "Soldiers' Night Before Christmas". It was based on the famous poem "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" by Clement C. Moore. This book talked about how many soldiers spend the holidays away from their family. But no matter where they are, the magic of the holidays finds them.

We made cards that looked like hot cocoa mugs for the troops and added a hot cocoa packet inside each one. The cards will be included in care packages to be sent overseas to our troops. We hope it makes their holidays a little brighter.
