FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today was the first day of 4th grade! The 4th graders came in and put away their supplies. Then Mrs. Kanas read us a story called "Mrs. Spitzer's Garden". The story was about a teacher who receives "seeds", that are really students, from the principal. The book made us think about how students are like seeds and that sometimes they need different things to grow. We each set a goal for ourselves for 4th grade and discussed ways we can reach our goal. It was a wonderful day and we can't wait to get started in 4th grade.
